Meet Dr. Ben

Dr. Ben is back! He was off for 4 weeks due to a full bicep tendon rupture that required surgical repair. He is back to doing everything including exercise, and nothing can hold him back!

Dr. Ben Aleynik graduated from University of Western States with his Doctorate of Chiropractic as well as a Master of Science in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine. Dr. Ben is well equipped with a variety of techniques styles to you get functioning and performing your best. He is very skilled at adjusting and constantly has battles with his wife Dr. Natasha, to see who is the best adjuster. He uses physical adjustments, flexion-distraction table, rehabilitative exercises, nutritional education, activator, drop table, and so much more.

He moved here from Washington where he was the head doctor at Natural Way Chiropractic in Mt Vernon. Lydia Choi studied Health Sciences at Simon Fraser University and graduated from Central College in New Westminster to become a registered acupuncturist and TCM practitioner. Additionally, while working, she pursued her passion for learning and practicing manual osteopathy at the National Academy of Osteopathy in Toronto.

Lydia has successfully treated a wide range of issues, including musculoskeletal pain, nerve problems, as well as internal conditions such as IBS, stomach ulcers, cardiovascular issues, and women’s health, among others.

She is trained in special manual osteopathic techniques like joint mobilization and the muscle energy technique. She is also skilled in acupotomy. In addition, she performs Tuina to realign the body and employs cupping therapy to address soft tissue concerns. Her overarching goal is to share her knowledge and skills, offering not only physical healing but also emotional support throughout her patients’ healing journeys.

Born and raised in South Korea, she moved to Canada at the age of 13. Lydia is fluent in both English and Korean. In her free time, she enjoys working out at the gym and taking her dog for walks when she’s not working.

Kiwan Kim is a passionate and dedicated acupuncturist registered with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture (CTCMA). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacology from McGill University but was ultimately inspired by his father, a Korean medicine doctor, to pursue a career in acupuncture. After completing his diploma in acupuncture from PCU College of Holistic Medicine, Kiwan traveled to Korea to gain valuable experience working alongside his father in his clinic.

A local to the area, Kiwan graduated from high school in this community and returned here after completing his university education. Dr. Katherine Reyes graduated with her Doctorate of Chiropractic and concurrent Bachelors in Human Biology summa cum laude from the University of Western States. Prior to chiropractic, her background includes a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Active Health and Rehabilitation. She is passionate about sharing chiropractic with patients of all ages, conditions, and backgrounds to help guide them on their journey to health and wellness.

Dr. Reyes utilizes a combination of adjustments, soft tissue mobilization techniques, exercise therapy, and patient education to help you get back to doing what you love. Dr. Nikki graduated from Trinity Western University with a Bachelor of Human Kinetics (Kinesiology). While there, she played varsity soccer (winning 4 national titles), while also playing for the Women’s Vancouver Whitecaps and Team Canada at the FISU games (in Serbia and China). After taking 6 months to travel the world, Dr. Nikki moved to Toronto to complete her Doctor of Naturopathy at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.
